Hi! My name is Emily Blasdell, and the people I admire most are those who are bold, adventurous, free, and kind. They see life and everything in it as gift. They dream, take risks, and are constantly learning and growing. Their eyes are on Heaven, and their feet are dancing. I got to a point in my life a few years ago when admiring became a waste of time, led me to comparison, and stole my joy.
So at the end of 2018, I made the decision to be the person I admired, the person God was persistently inviting me to be. The decision led me to leave what I thought was my dream job, start my own business, and hit the road for a few months...because #porqueno?
Most days I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing and wonder why anyone would trust me to help them bring their vision to life, but then I'm reminded by Mother Teresa that we are not called to be successful. We are called to be faithful.
After 3 months road-tripping around the U.S. that led to spending a beautiful year in Pensacola, FL, with Greenhouse Collective, I am back in my beloved hometown of Houston, TX, living in a trailer on Soggy Boots Farm continuing to challenge the status quo in my life.
